Manual Labor or looking after children seems to be the job of choice for most. Even after the COVID-19 Lockdown, there is still a high demand for seasonal workers, and Aupairs.
English speakers can find paid travel opportunities in foreign countries as an English teacher, working on a yacht or in a hostel. There is a massive demand for English speaking workers in the hospitality and teaching industries.

An unprecedented rise in online workers in 2020 has made the freelancing option a little more competitive. But there are still millions of gigs online for budding freelancers. The main key to landing jobs as a freelancer is building a quality profile, applying for as many jobs as you can, and building a reputation through reviews.

The more hours you put into your business, the more you will be rewarded. If you haven't started traveling yet, it's the perfect time to start your business. Put as many hours in as you can now so that your business is paying you by the time you hit the road.

This is my favorite way to make money when traveling. All the work you do goes into your business, as it grows you build a digital asset. Starting a business is an investment in the future. The money could come months or years down the track.
If you currently have a regular income, start putting in the time to build your business as a side gig. Then once it pays you enough, you can take it full time and travel the world.
4. Work Remotely
2020 sparked a revolution in the way the global workforce operates. Billions of people worldwide were forced to work remotely, and it worked. Businesses are reporting higher productivity rates. People don’t need to be in an office to work. Even when the world returns to some sense of normality, businesses will encourage employees to stay working from home. So why not work remotely and start traveling?
